Jamba Juice

Two of the PRD leadership team members were instrumental in getting Jamba Juice out of the ground and on the map. The founder of PRD, Tony Poma, built many of the first restaurants as a Contractor and Construction Manager.  The leadership team at PRD was responsible for building the systems that made the Jamba Juice development machine work.

They integrated the Design, Construction, Real Estate and Maintenance processes and teams so that an aggressive development schedule could be delivered. The construction purchasing process that was implemented along with new cost efficient designs reduced the average construction cost for a project from $433K to $219K. This allowed Jamba Juice to build double the number of units under a very restrictive capital budget.  By building systems with checks and balances we were able to hit schedules and commitments to the stakeholders. By integrating Design and Maintenance we were able to build a better brand experience for less while making the stores more durable.
